Pricing

  • All product prices quoted are in Australian (AUD) dollars.

  • The Fair Trade Store holds the right to change product prices and stock availability at any time.

Payment

  • Payment is made to The Fair Trade Store via Paypal or through Direct Deposit of funds into our nominated bank account. Paypal is a secure facility allowing customers to purchase products with their Credit or appropriate Debit card via a protected network. We also welcome telephone orders from those wishing to pay via Direct Bank Deposit.

Postage

  • Australia Post is utilised where possible for both domestic and international deliveries.
  • All orders are dispatched within 24 hours of receiving payment. You will receive a confirmation email from The Fair Trade Store when your order has been dispatched.
  • All orders are posted via regular post (with tracking), or express post, depending on customers’ request at checkout.
  • Please allow 1-5 business days for your order to arrive via regular post, depending on your location and time taken to receive payment. Longer delivery times should be expected over public holiday periods and lead up to Christmas.
  • For all domestic and international orders valued over AUD $500, we recommend that you purchase shipping insurance at the checkout.
  • For all international orders, please be aware that Quarantine services in your country made require holding periods for any products ordered that contain animal or plant content. This may create a delay in the arrival of your order, requests for product treatment, or refusal of entry into your country, all of which The Fair Trade Store holds no responsibility. Please contact your local Quarantine Service prior to making your order if this is of concern to you.
  • For all international orders, please enquire about Import Duty and Local Taxes that apply to your country, as you may be required to pay these depending on the value of your order. The Fair Trade Store is not responsible for any of these taxes.


Refund Return or Exchange

  • Please be aware that The Fair Trade Store stocks products that are handmade and unique. Therefore, some products are likely to have minor flaws or be slightly different to those photographed on our site. We hope you can appreciate this and enjoy their originality.
  • Please contact The Fair Trade Store prior to returning or exchanging goods.
  • Customers who wish to return or exchange their order must do so within 14 days of receiving their order. The Fair Trade Store will only accept goods that are still in their original condition and preferably, original packaging. The Fair Trade Store holds the right to refuse any returned goods if this condition is not upheld.
  • Refunds and exchanges are only conducted once the goods are returned to The Fair Trade Store.
  • Any refunded payments will be made to the customer via the method used to purchase the products. Please allow up to 2 weeks for a refunded payment to appear on your account, if a credit card has been used.
  • All refunds given are exclusive of delivery costs incurred, unless damage to goods has genuinely occurred prior to the customer receiving them.
  • Please notify The Fair Trade Store if your order has been damaged in transit, and we will endeavour to replace or refund the item, subject to the conditions already noted.
